The people of Gombi/ Hong Federal Constituency in Adamawa State have again extolled the proactive nature of the Member representing the area at the National Assembly,Rt.Hon.(Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub,while describing him as their best representative since the return of democracy in 1999.
The Constituents,who bared their minds over the weekend during the immediate commencement of reconstruction work on the collapsed Guyaku Bridge on the Gombi-Garkida-Biu Road,said the lawmaker’s approach to the needs of his Constituency was the greatest reason for their support for his re-election bid. They added that Rep Buba was such a special candidate in the coming election that ideas of Party or religion were no issues in considering his candidature.
According to Yusuf Usman Amana Hong,
” The speed with which the work started is very impressive.We urge Hon.Capt.Buba,our Member to keep up the good work as per good efforts and leadership by example. Everyone knows he is a good Representative; a true and transformational leader,who has integrity. For us,he progressively defines positive impact and the right way forward always.We call him the Project Master here. He deserves a renewal of his mandate in 2023,insha Allah.”
For Oscar Kayode Fayemi,an ardent social media influencer in the Constituency,who wrote on Facebook:
” A good leader like him (Hon.Buba) is the first and foremost reason why more and more people are endorsing him as their special candidate in the forthcoming election. He remains the true voice of the masses”.
On his own, however,the lawmaker commended the urgent intervention of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), following his request to the Adamawa State Director of the Agency a few days ago. He expressed satisfaction at the progress made at the site of the rehabilitation work on the Guyaku Bridge and some portions of the road swept away some days ago by the increased intensity of this year’s rainfall. Rep Buba said the effort of the FERMA officials,which has ensured that road users were not kept stranded on the road for far too long,was a unique demonstration of commitment to public good by public officials,a service etho,he said, Nigeria deserves to forward.
