POLITICS: African Democratic Congress Constitutes Interim Executive in Abia

The national leadership of the African Democratic Congress has constituted an Interim Executive to steer the activities of the party in Abia state following the dissolution of the out going state executive of the party in Abia.

The dissolution of state executive became indispensable as they couldn’t live up to the responsibilities of championing the party’s course not just party men but execo of the  part instead  indulging  in anti-party affairs as well as undermining the party and her candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The names of the interim execo are contained in a letter which is dated 1st August, 2022 and  addressed to the national chairman of the Nigeria electoral umpire, INEC. The letter which is  signed by the  national chairman and secretary of the party respectively  and copied to commissioner of police, Abia state, IPAC , Abia state,Director DSS Abia state and the Adviser to the Abia state governor on political matters was  made available to news men on the 2nd August, 2022.

 

The letter which is titled ” NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF ADC ABIA STATE EXCO/CONSTITUTION OF INTERIM EXCO”

read,  ” Above captioned subject refers, due to the recent anti-party activities and deliberate effort of some Abia state  executives to undermining our candidates for the general election, coupled with various allegations of grievous misconduct, the NWC has by a special resolution dated 1st August, 2022 dissolved the ADC Abia state  Exco and has constituted the underlisted  as ADC interim executive for Abia state.
