On the issue of Idoma unity colour proposed by HRM. PASTOR ELAIGWU ODOGBO OBAGAJI JOHN, OCH’IDOMA AGABA’IDU V.
This proposal was unequivocally unveiled by his HRM. in the just concluded 2022 annual convention of IDOMA ASSOCIATION USA in Bloomington, Minnesota USA.
THERE SHOULDN’T BE ANY CONTROVERSY ABOUT IT IN ANY FORM OR GUISE, NEITHER SHOULD IT BE VIEWED NOR JUDGE WITH A SENTIMENTAL LENSE NOR SENSE MY FELLOW GREAT IDOMA YOUTHS.
It’s indeed now an expedient step towards breaking the created dichotomy that have long succeeded in polarising the Idoma kingdom and adversely divided and broken us into Idoma/Igede which was not so from the beginning.
This created dichotomy without gainsay have already divided and in reality put apart both the Idoma and the Igede people of Idoma kingdom for some time now impeding our Inclusiveness, collective efforts towards building a positive and prosperous Idoma kingdom and the yearned for growth and development.
Now haven, studied the nature of this unnecessary division and know some of the major ingredients that will appeal to the aggrieved indispensable sect (the Igede) who also are a major people in the kingdom.
HRM. have identified one of those major uniting ingredients to be the wholesome uniting, merging and bringing to be one the already created separate cultural colour as a result of the unnecessary created division due to what we ought not dwell on any more but pushing for the way to put an end to this unhealthy polarisation. Which is an addendum to some of the key steps taken already and earnestly been worked upon by HRM. to foster unity, peace, security of lives and properties, growth and development in the entire Idoma kingdom.
This is the obvious reason for HRM. to take the bold, courageous and difficult step to unit this created and already existing cultural colour of both the Idoma and Igede so as to have a united cultural colour which will go a long way to heal all the past wounds created that called for the aggrieved fraction to carve a different way for themselves which made it look like having a two different nation in one nation which is the major cause for our non peaceful coexistence, non Inclusiveness and non unified development.
HRM. in his divinely given wisdom has avail himself and his graceful throne to undo the wrong done in the past so as to peacefully bring to a fall and give us that positively United and one appreciable identity that represents and recognises the tribes especially the major ones in Idoma kingdom (OPIATOHA), a prove of togetherness, loveliness, acceptability of one another without pretence and Inclusiveness for peaceful coexistence that breads growth and development.
We all must put our hands on deck to make sure the noble vision of uniting the tribes in Idoma kingdom to become one indeed peacefully by our King HRM. Och’Idoma Agaba’Idu V become an undefeated reality for the growth and development of our land and for posterity.
NOTE, THE IDOMA UNITY COLOUR PROPOSED BY HRM. OCH’IDOMA AGABA’IDU V, IS NOT VOID OF THE BOTH RED, BLACK, BLUE AND WHITE THAT ALREADY EXISTED IN THE TWO MAJOR TRIBES (IDOMA/IGEDE) OF IDOMA KINGDOM.
