A Gubernatorial Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC, ESV. Godwin Ityoachimin Presents Roadmap

An APC governorship aspirant, ESV Ityoachimin launches his road map with which to govern Benue State ahead of the APC primary and the 2023 general election adding that he has come, armed with a roadmap designed with ambitious projections for a turnaround of Benue ugly situations, promises to use the most sophisticated service expertise acquired from varied perspectives of life to apply fresh ideas as a solution to the challenges bedeviling the state.

Earlier in a welcome address, the Director General, Fresh Voice, Terhemba Ishegh told supporters that security will be their major concern, urging all to adopt the fresh voice for a greater Benue comes 2023.

The Chairman of the occasion, Chief Simon Shango, while describing the aspirant, Ityoachimin as an honest young man wishes the governorship ticket is within his power to appropriate, however, said everything is in the hands of God Almighty and whatever we ask, he gives.

Presentating the Roadmap to the people of Benue State ahead of the 2023 general elections, Dr. Oliver Agundu said, there is a seeming consensus amidst well-meaning Benue sons and daughters and, to a greater extent, all critical-minded people living in Benue, the Food Basket State is completely missing on the list of the States in Nigeria that are currently experiencing good governance in the true sense of the concept.

He further stressed that, developmental stagnation of the state is linked directly to bad governance, corruption, financial misappropriation and misplacement of priorities.

It is against this back drop that the Fresh Voice believes that a Greater Benue is possible, but can only be achieved by adopting a new leadership recruitment model and a new approach to governance that are people-centered and development-oriented, he said.

Rev. Dr. Ikyaan who reviewed the policy document described the document as a governance model the people’s Governor is promising the good People of Benue State and wish to drive it under the following focal areas:

Governance and Civil Service Reforms, Agriculture and Rural Development, Health and Human Services, Education, Science and Technology Development, Economic planning and Development, Revenue Regeneration and Management, Security of Lives and property, Water Resources and Environment, Land, Housing and Urban Development, Youths and Sports Development, Arts, Culture and Tourism, Social Development, Value Re-orientation and women, Children and people living with disabilities among others.

Responding to the development, ESV Ityoachimin said he has come, armed with a the roadmap designed with ambitious projections for a turnaround of Benue ugly situations, promising to use the most sophisticated service expertise acquired from varied perspectives of life to apply fresh ideas as a solution to the challenges bedeviling our dear state.

Accordingly, the people’s governorshop aspirant intends to recruit a broad team on merit and expertise to execute a holistic intervention that will accomplish this mission under his competent supervision.

Responding to questions, ESV said The Fresh Voice Roadmap proposes a government that has a clear understanding of what good governance entails which among other things include participatory, transparent, accountability and also effective and equitable distribution of resources amongst eminent citizens of the State as well as promoting the rule of law to take care of the security challenges bedeviling the State.

Mrs. Sewuese Ityoachimin in a vote of thank thanks everyone for honoring the invitation to roadmap for a greater Benue 2023, said the policy document unvailed has not in any way laid claim to the monopoly of knowledge and capacity on how to take Benue out of the present quagmire, imploring all and sundry who believe that a greater Benue is possible and also willing to partner with the man Ityoachimin for the realization of this collective aspirations to join the train with passion.
