Coordinators of Development Centers in Ebonyi State have re-stated their support and commitment to the gubernatorial candidature of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru.
Speaking on behalf of the 64 coordinators, Hon. Patrick Enyi, the Vice Chairman of the Coordinator Forum, who disclosed that Nwifuru was the right man for the job because he had been part and parcel of Umahi-led administration.
According to him, the success story of Umahi’s administration cannot be completed without the contribution of the Speaker. He assured the Speaker further of their support to deliver the All Progressives Congress( APC ) in 2023 general election.
Enyi said, “The role you have played made Ebonyi State what it is today. The success story of this administration canot be told without you. You character has contributed to the growth of Ebonyi project. We are here to identify with you as the incoming governor. We are very happy that you accepted the calling.
“We have been part and parcel of this government. We know you have never failed the government. Whatever we have done, we are assuring you that we are going to double it.
“We are aware of your efforts to better the lots of the coordinators and we appeal for your support to enable us discharge our responsibility”Enyi said.
Speaking also, John Ogodo, Publicity Secretary of the Forum described Ebonyi State House of Assembly under Nwifuru as the most peaceful house of assembly in Nigeria.
He said the commitment of the Forum to Nwifuru’s victory in 2023 was not in doubt.
“We are here to show our support to you because there were many of you who aspired as governors, but you emerged successfully. Our commitment to support you is that we do not have the doubt that you would redouble the achievements of our dear governor. We are ever ready to support you”, Ogodo stressed.
Responding, the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly and the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate appreciated the Coordinators for their support.
He charged them to consolidate on the responsibility reposed on them at the grassroots by ensuring that they deliver on their mandate and discharge their responsibility accordingly.
