Less than a week to the February 25th presidential election, SDP Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo have pledged to improve education, revamp the economy and tackle insecurity if elected.
He gave the commitment on Sunday during the Definitive Presidential Debate, the last virtual presidential debate put together by seasoned none partisan Nigerian journalists.
The organisers, Rudolf Okonkwo, Professor Farooq Kperogi, Sonala Olumhense, and Okey Ndibe.
Okonkwo in his opening remark disclosed that Nine (9) presidential candidates were invited, but only candidates of SDP, ADC and ACC honoured the invitation.
Speaking on his plans, SDP presidential candidate Adebayo said Nigerians need and deserve an alternative party and personality that will lead the country out of the woods.
SDP Presidential candidate who described himself as the alternative promised that he will eradicate poverty, insecurity and establish a government that will be accountable to all.
On whether he will remove the fuel subsidy, he said “I will remove fuel subsidy and channel the resources to other important sectors.”
Adebayo lamented that insecurity has become a big business in Nigeria, adding that “I will ensure that Nigerians are busy with good employment to tackle insecurity.”
