The Chairman, Committee on Foreign Affairs and Member representing Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,Rt.Hon.(Dr.)Yusuf Capt.Buba has declared that he has no preferred aspirants among the array of Party members seeking to contest for the tickets of the ruling APC in respect to the three House of Assembly (Gombi, Hong and Uba Gaiya)seats in his Constituency.
He said that he has chosen to maintain neutrality in the contest involving the Party members,who are all known to be his ardent followers and supporters.
The Member of the House of Representatives, therefore,calls on all the aspirants to peacefully go about wooing delegates and canvassing support from whatever quarters that will enhance their chances at emerging the standard-bearers of the APC for the three State Assembly seats in the area.
Hon. Buba thanks all leaders and supporters of the APC in the area and across Adamawa State and calls on them to once again resolve to continue to queue behind all those that will emerge as Party flag-bearers through the ongoing selection processes of the next few days in the Party. He says this is necessary in order to prove to all that Adamawa State as a whole remains an APC State. He also calls on all his supporters and Party members to continue to maintain peace and abide by the law at all times, even as they participate in the activities that constitute the electoral process.
