Ogunbiyi Ajibola Installed As First Baale of Oke Owu, Kuta

The historic town of Kuta in Osun State turned into colorful celebration on Friday as popular Lagos automobile dealer, Ajibola Ogunbiyi, was coronated as the first Baale Oke Owu, Kuta. The ceremony was conducted by using His Royal Majesty Oba Oyelude Adekunle Makama of Kuta Kingdom.

 

Held at the Olowu of Kuta’s Palace, the conventional ceremony attracted the presence of Kuta kingdom chiefs, conventional leaders, and plenty of families and friends of Ogunbiyi.

In the course of the installation, Oba Makama urged the brand new Baale to leverage his entrepreneurial skills to foster economic development in Kuta and to engage with the Kingdom’s  youth to force infrastructural progress.

 

In his acceptance speech, Baale Ajibola Ogunbiyi pledged to collaborate intently with the king and diverse community to convey advantageous changes to the kingdom.

He promised to honor the traditions of Kuta at the same time  integrating current generation into the traditional governance system.

 

Today marks the start of a new sunrise for the people of Kuta. I will not only adhere but also uphold our traditions. Also I would improve on them by using modern practices in our local governance. As Baale, i’m devoted to bringing about nice changes. The youth will feel my impact as well as the community to reap the desired infrastructural and economical development for Kuta,” said Baale Ajibola Ogunbiyi.

The occasion featured a lavish reception with nice champagne, premium cognac, amazing meals, and musical leisure from David Ayinde & Mayor Melody Bands.

 

In attendance were importabt personalities whixh Kabiesi Oni Ileigbo, Honorable Niyi Adeogun, Hon Akinyemi Ogunbiyi, Mr. Abioye Ogunbiyi, Hon Ogunbiyi Olatunde Davies, Dr. Akinfenwa Ogunbiyi, Chairman of Bobheel automobile, Chairman of Visco, Chairman of Furniture Plug, Omolala Emmanuel amongst others. 

 

Others notable attendees include; Hon Michael Abimboye, Mr. Mayowa Oluwoga, Mr. Tope Adeyanju, Chairman of Angle90 devices, Ademola Ogunbiyi, DCP Yomi Sogunle, and ACP Oke, amongst others.
