Hon. Chief Philip Agbese Commiserates With Otukpo Catholic Diocese and Extends His Condolences To The Tiv Nation Over The Passing Of Elder Statesman, Chief Paul Unongo

 

The APC candidate for House of Representatives in Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Chief Philip Agbese has commiserated with the Diocesan Community of Otukpo and the entire Idoma Nation over the demise of the first priest of Idoma extraction, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Innocent Agbo Eje who died on Monday, November 28th, 2022.

In a press statement, the Honourable and House of Representatives hopeful described the incident as unfortunate, especially at a time when the Idoma Nation needs leaders such as the late Priest. He further described the death of Fr. Eje as a great loss not only to the Idoma Nation but to the entire Christendom at large.

Also, the leading candidate for the House of Representatives has condoled with the Tiv Nation over the loss of their illustrious son and First Republic frontline politician, Chief Paul Unongo. He described the death of Chief Unongo as the end of an era. Chief Unongo was said to have died at the age of 87.

“We sincerely commiserate with his family and the entire Tiv Nation and the entire people of Benue State on this great loss”, Chief Agbese stated.

Chief Agbese described the death of these illustrious sons as a double loss to the people of Benue and prayed that the souls of the reposed find eternal rest with the Almighty God.
