Against every powerful hand of our opponents, there exists another Powerful one from the Almighty God. He alone has the absolute power that saves, rescues and delivers people from their predicaments. God is He who comes to our aids when things become too deadly, even when we do not remember to call upon Him.
But most often, God expects we cry to Him when in trouble so that He reaches down His Hands to deliver us. Psalm 91: 1 talks of those who dwell in the secret place of the Almighty… These are those who position themselves under the Power of God’s Mighty Hands. Verses 15 says: “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him and honour him.”
It is very unfortunate that the world is sinking deeper and deeper into unbelieve and hopelessness as many world leaders look away from the suffering masses and turning attention to what gives them personal joy, fame and comfort. This does not mean that God cannot help us.
The moment we look up to Him and call upon Him, deliverance will be extended to us. Pastor Andrew Roebert advices us to look at our challenges from the perspective of God’s Mighty Hands. He says: – “As you look at what you are facing, always look at it from the perspective of His Mighty Hand, and rest in His ability and plan.” The worst we will do to ourselves when facing challenges is believing that God cannot help us anymore.
The beloved of the LORD, I might not know how hard, formidable and weighty are your problems. Just put on faith and hope and take hold of God Mighty Hands today. While you are talking hold of His Mighty Hand, believe in the Power of His Mighty Hands too.
Prophet Isaiah cautioned us in Isaiah 59: 1 not to think that the LORD’S hand is too short to save us or His ear is too deaf to hear our prayers. Apostle Paul talked on God’s incredible greatness power for us who believe in Him.
He prayed that we Christians understand this incredible or immeasurable greatness of God’s Power as seen in Eph.1: 19 – 20. My prayer here is for all of us to understand this, trust in it and believe in it, in Jesus name. We must trust God enough and position ourselves under the power of His Mighty Hand.
PRAYER:
Jehovah the all-knowing God, make me to understand the incredible greatness of your power and enable me to rely on you always in Jesus name.
