The College of Health Sciences, University of Abuja yesterday, organized a sendforth for the Secretary to the Provost, Mr Kasumu Jasau, who will be proceeding on terminal leave, next week.
Jasau, a registry staff of the University was born 6th May 1958 in Makun, Sagamu, Ogun State. He joined the service of the University in February 1991 as a Senior Secretarial Assistant.
Speaking to ViralpostHQ Correspondence he Said;
“I will finally bow out of the system on 6th May 2023, after the expiration of my leave.
It has been fantastic working in Faculties and, indeed, this College because I came across different type of intellectuals who made impact on me,” Jasau said, adding that “I will never forget my experience working at this great University.”
The Ag. Provost of the College, Professor Abubakar Mustapha Jamda, described Kasumu as a great man who demonstrated a sense of humility, empathy and honesty.
“He is always at his duty post, and if he has a reason to be away, even for few hours, he would communicate before time to enable the team plan to cover for his absence,” Jamda said, calling on all staff of the University to emulate Jasau’s positive behaviour.
