The former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido has recently lambasted and downplayed Wike’s political strength in Rivers state as regards the 2023 general elections.
Recall that Sule Lamido has during an interview with Channels TV on Tuesday, noted that before Wike became a council Chairman, Rivers State people have been in PDP. He said irrespective of the stance Wike takes in 2023, it won’t affect the votes Atiku will get from Rivers State.
A group a group known as the one Nigeria Movement (ONM) in a reacting to his latest outburst against Wike has cautioned Sule Lamido, saying his display of arrogance will only earn Atiku another defeat at the polls in 2023.
According to Vanguard Newspaper, the group in a statement issued by the convener general, Ahmed, noted that from what Sule Lamido said, it is clear that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has no plans to include Wike and his loyalists in election bid in 2023 or to win the election.
According to the group, Wike should stop wasting his time seeking peace with Atiku Abubakar because it is obvious that no agreement will be respected.
