I want to use this medium to wish all electorates in Ado LGA a very Happy New Year 2023, and to pledge that I will do all that I can to stand up for you in Parliament if elected in March.
Over the past six electoral circles since Nigeria return to Democracy in 1999, less attention has been paid to ‘who’ becomes our political leader, more essentially, the quality of people elected as members of our Local Government Council, as members of State Assembly, as Members of House of Representatives and Senate, as well as those we elected as Governors and President.
Looking back over the year just gone, it’s no doubt to say that the challenges we face are huge, and our leaders also contributed in making difficult problems much worse for us. Many of our innocent Ado electorates I have discussed with are facing desperate circumstances, as a result of self serving agenda of our political elites in power which has made trust in the political system to have gone drastically below expectations.
We are in a transition year, and as we go out in February 25th and March 11th 2023, I want to urge us all Ado electorates to vote and elect political leaders who are competent, honest, resilient with the needed capacity and political will power to deliver on democratic tenets.
Let your conscience lead you, choose your political leaders wisely this year.
